verdegreen® is a boutique enterprise, dedicated to Biophilic Design and credited with iconic projects. The muti-disciplinary team works at different scales in a B2C and B2B type of relationship, providing innovative solutions and products while advocating for a more holistic design thinking.
Approach
Rooted in the innate tendency that humans posses to seek connections with nature and other forms of life, verdegreen® is a pioneer in the development of a design philosophy that fosters the integration of living systems in our Bioregion. By connecting humans with the natural world, by incorporating nature and natural processes into the built environment, stress is reduced and wellbeing is augmented.
Biophilic design can be organized into three categories: Nature of the Space, Natural Analogues and Nature in the Space. This provides a framework for understanding and enabling thoughtful incorporation of a rich diversity of strategies into the built environment.
