Davivienda Tower

DESCRIPTION

The project is located within Torre Davivienda in level 900 above the cafeteria. The green roof was conceived as an opporunity to convert built unused space into a garden for the recreation of the employees during its working time. This green space contributes to the relaxation and health of the workers.

It consists of two areas: An outdoor gym to promote sports within the users of the building and a recreational area where to relax and disconnect from the stress of the daily work. Additionally, it has capacity to unfold an event.

The main element of the design is a big pergola made of cables of stain steel that cross from side to side, creating a big umbrella of vegetation to protect and allow the space to be used. These cables appears from the big planters around the permiter where banches are intergrated as well.  Under the shade of the green canopy, people can feel embrace by nature and chill. The design provides low vegetation and groundcovers with different volumes, density and colours that enriches the place.
